Work

  • 2024.06 - 2024.08

    Seattle, WA

    SURP Intern
    Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center
Cleaned and analyzed kinase inhibitor dataset, including measuring the polypharmacology of different FDA approved kinase inhibitors. Experimented with cheminformatic ML models (Chemprop, ProSmith) on HPC for predicting kinase inhibition profiles using chemical structure.
  • 2023.06 - Present

    Lemont, IL

    Research Aide
    Argonne National Laboratory
Part-time research aide working on the national AI flood mapping project. Developed python and shell scripts for dataset collection and devised a successful manual labeling workflow. Currently investigating different computer vision model architectures on the HPC clusters for predicting flood pixels from both multispectral and synthetic radar aperture (SAR) data.
  • 2022.06 - 2022.09

    Lemont, IL

    SULI Intern
    Argonne National Laboratory
Conducted independent project modeling PFAS bioaccumulation over the course of 12 weeks. Explored different data sampling methodologies and transfer learning to predict bioaccumulation behavior in a small class of PFAS compounds.

Volunteer

  • 2024.04 - 2024.07

    Chicago, IL

    Instructor
    Math Circles of Chicago
Statistics instructor for the MAPSCorp program at Kenwood Academy and UC Woodlawn Charter School. Taught weekly 2 hour sessions over 18 weeks.
